El Farallón
Ocean-to-table seafood on terraces carved into the cliffs of Pedregal, with Pacific waves breaking just below.
El Farallón: Dinner on the Cliffs of Pedregal
El Farallón is the signature seafood restaurant at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, built into the cliffs on the Pacific side of Cabo San Lucas, with mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. Tables sit on terraces just above the crashing surf, which makes it one of the most dramatic places to have dinner in Los Cabos.
The concept is ocean to table: the kitchen works from the local catch of the day, and guests can choose their fish from a market-style display before it is cooked. Set menus are offered for larger parties. Live entertainment plays from 6 PM to 9 PM, and dinner is served from 5 PM to 10 PM. Expect resort-level pricing and a dressier crowd than on Médano.
Pedregal is reached through a private tunnel from the marina side of town, so allow a taxi ride of around 10 to 15 minutes from Villa 1. You need a confirmed reservation to be admitted to the resort, which you can make by calling +52 624 163 4300 or emailing the restaurant team. Book well in advance, particularly for sunset, and aim to arrive before dark to enjoy the view.
