Short answer first. As a Cabo bachelor party villa, Villa 1 is a great base for a bachelor or bachelorette weekend, and a bad venue for a house party. It's inside Hacienda Beach Club, a residential resort with families next door. What it does brilliantly is put eight people a walk from downtown nightlife, with a private pool and hot tub for the mornings after.
What works at the villa
Pre-drinks by the pool with the Sonos on. A chef-cooked dinner on the terrace before going out. Pool table and poker chips in the living room. A hot tub looking at El Arco the next morning. Eight people in four en-suite rooms, so getting ready doesn't turn into a bathroom queue.

What doesn't: the rules, upfront
These come from our booking terms and the fact that it's a residential resort. They're enforced, and serious or repeated violations can end a stay without a refund.
- Only registered guests (maximum eight) stay overnight.
- Day visitors need our approval; bringing people back from the club isn't allowed without it.
- Parties or gatherings beyond your group need written approval in advance.
- Keep noise reasonable at night and early in the morning.
- The person booking must be 25 or older and stay the whole trip.
- Keep glass away from the pool and hot tub; broken glass means draining the pool.
Nightlife distance and getting home
Hacienda is at the marina end of Médano, and the main bar streets are just beyond the marina. Most groups walk into town and take a taxi or Uber back. Cabo Wabo, El Squid Roe and Mandala are the classic stops; our nightlife guide covers dress codes and what's closed. Remember that drinking on public streets isn't allowed in Cabo, and police do enforce it.
Day plans for the group
Build the weekend around one big group activity a day:
- A private yacht charter with your own playlist, from the marina.
- Beach clubs on Médano: Mango Deck for the party, Taboo for bachelorettes (adults only).
- Sportfishing at dawn, then naps.
- ATV tours in the desert (drivers usually need to be 18+ with a license).
- Golf for the groom's crew in the corridor.
Food and recovery
Breakfast for eight is easier at home. Stock the kitchen before you arrive (we can arrange grocery pre-stocking), or book a chef for a late brunch. Our private chef guide explains fees, groceries and tipping. The resort spa is there for the bachelorette spa morning; see spa and wellness.

Timing: spring break or not
Mid to late March is spring break, when downtown is loudest and boats and tables book out. If you want the energy, go then and book early; see the spring break villa page. If you'd rather have space, late April, May, October and early November are warm and easier to book. The detailed planning guide is Cabo for bachelor and bachelorette groups.
Three nights, planned loosely
Day 1: arrive, pool, a chef dinner at the villa, then a first night downtown. Day 2: a private boat from the marina at 11 with lunch on board, back by 4, a nap, and dinner in town before the clubs. Day 3: a slow morning, a beach club afternoon on Médano, and a final big dinner. Day 4: brunch at home and airport transfers.
Keep the plan loose. Groups consistently overbook the first two days and are tired by the third. One big activity per day plus the pool is plenty.
