La Galería

Art on every wall inside, boats outside. La Galería is in Plaza Bonita, the small shopping plaza on the marina right next to Puerto Paraíso, a seven-minute walk from Villa 1, and the terrace looks straight over the marina. It's open all day, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 PM, which makes it an easy fallback whatever time you get hungry.

Recent reviewers order the molcajete mixto (a volcanic-stone bowl of grilled meats and seafood in salsa), whole red snapper, fresh ceviches, grilled and fried fish tacos, premium steaks and surf and turf with lobster, filet and shrimp. Guacamole is made at the table. There's live music in the evenings and gluten-free options.

Reviews from August and September 2026 are frequent and mostly glowing, with the setting and service singled out. There's been at least one dispute about a tip on a card payment, which the management rejected; as anywhere, check the bill before signing. Reservations are available on OpenTable, though walk-ins are normal outside peak season.

We send couples here for a marina-view dinner without Pedregal prices, and groups where some want Mexican and others want seafood. It's dog-friendly and has validated parking in the plaza. From the villa, walk along the boardwalk toward Puerto Paraíso and continue into Plaza Bonita; La Galería faces the water. Breakfast is calmer than dinner and a good way to enjoy the marina view before the day boats head out. In the evening, ask for a terrace table when you book: the art is inside, but the view is outside.
