WTF Burger Bar: When Everyone Just Wants a Burger
Every group trip has the night when nobody wants another taco. WTF Burger Bar is where our guests go for that. It's on the marina side of Puerto Paraíso mall (local 40), about a six-minute walk from Villa 1, with an air-conditioned dining room and a shaded patio with misters looking out over the boats.
Expect American comfort food with a Cabo twist. Recent reviewers ordered the house cheeseburgers, a patty melt, a double burger topped with a hot dog, buffalo wings, onion rings, sweet potato fries, nachos and fish and chips. Vegetarians are covered with Impossible burgers and Impossible street tacos, and there's ceviche and fresh fish if someone wants something lighter. Margaritas and beer round it out, and a chocolate cake for the kids.
It's open daily from 10 AM to 9 PM, which makes it an easy lunch between the beach and a boat trip, or an early dinner with children. Reviews from July and August 2026 are consistently good; the one complaint we saw was a burger cooked rarer than ordered, so say how you want it. It's kid-friendly and dog-friendly, and parking is easy because it's inside the mall.
Walk the marina boardwalk west from Hacienda Beach Club and cut into Puerto Paraíso; WTF is on the waterfront level. It's not a destination restaurant, and prices are marina prices rather than street prices, but it's reliable. If your group wants sports on TV with the burgers, Cabo Cantina and Golden Legends are nearby alternatives on the same marina. Late afternoon is the nicest time on the patio, once the sun drops behind the Pedregal hill and the sportfishing boats start coming back in.
