The Office Cabo San Lucas (full name: The Office on the Beach) has been serving people on Médano Beach long enough to count as an institution. Tables sit right on the sand under colorful umbrellas, looking out over the bay, and the mood is pure Mexican beach party, especially once the music starts.

The food is traditional Mexican with a lot of seafood, made with fresh local ingredients. Expect tacos, ceviches and seafood plates alongside dinner classics like the Tampiqueña (grilled flank steak with a chicken enchilada in guajillo sauce), fajitas and Cabo Burritos filled with shredded fish. Theme nights are what The Office is best known for, with live music and performances.

Come early and you can watch the sunrise over breakfast. It opens at 7:00 AM, and the Cabo breakfast comes with a lobster, shrimp or octopus omelette. Or come back in the evening for a cocktail with your feet in the sand. Rustic wooden furniture, sand underfoot, no dress code.
