Farms, surf schools and retreats
El Pescadero is small (around 2,200 people in the 2020 census) and agricultural, with organic farms supplying restaurants across Los Cabos. Around it are surf rentals, yoga retreats and boutique hotels on the dirt roads toward the sea.
Cerritos Beach is the reason most people come. A rocky point shelters the north end, which makes the waves gentler than the rest of this coast, and surf schools rent boards and give lessons on the sand. Just north, San Pedrito is a heavier break for experienced surfers.
Getting to Cerritos and El Pescadero from Villa 1
Highway 19 north from Cabo San Lucas, about 65 km and an hour to the Cerritos turnoff, then a short road to the beach. Todos Santos is another 10 to 15 minutes north.
