San Pedrito Beach

San Pedrito is a palm-backed Pacific beach between El Pescadero and Todos Santos with a right point break for experienced surfers. It's quieter and heavier than Cerritos.

Updated September 2026

Surf and swimming

The point is known as an advanced break over a rocky bottom, with strong currents; surf forecasters warn about urchins, rips and rocks. On smaller days a beach break forms that intermediates enjoy. If you're learning, go to Cerritos instead.

Swimming is only sensible on genuinely flat days, close to shore and away from the rocks. There's no lifeguard.

The beach

Behind the sand is a palm grove, which makes San Pedrito one of the prettier stretches on this coast for a sunset walk. Food is back toward El Pescadero; see Cerritos and El Pescadero.
