Happy Ending Cantina

You'll know Happy Ending Cantina when you see it: every surface inside is covered in stickers, the ceiling is plastered with signed bills, and the drink names are designed to make you laugh. It's a dive bar on Boulevard Paseo de la Marina, between the marina and the big clubs, eight minutes on foot from Villa 1, and it sells vintage-style T-shirts you'll spot on people all over town.

The reason it's always busy is price. The bar is known for cheap beer, shots and combo deals, which makes it the obvious pre-game before the clubs or a cheap afternoon out of the sun. The food is simple bar food: tacos, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, cheeseburgers, loaded fries, ribs and fajitas, plus a big salad for anyone pretending to be healthy.

It's open from 10 AM to 3 AM every day, so it covers a late breakfast beer as well as a 2 AM snack. Reviews from April to August 2026 praise the staff and the fun. The one recent complaint was about being refused a table and slow service on a busy night; at peak hours, grab a seat at the bar instead.

This isn't a place for a nice dinner or for families with young kids after dark. It's for groups who want cheap drinks and a laugh. From the villa, walk the marina boardwalk west past Puerto Paraíso, then up to the boulevard. If your group is heading on to Mandala or La Vaquita afterwards, both are a couple of minutes away. Visa and Mastercard are accepted, and there are TVs for the game.
