Tacos Guss

Tacos Guss is one of the most reviewed taquerías in Cabo San Lucas, sitting on Boulevard Lázaro Cárdenas at the corner of Calle Melchor Ocampo, just behind the marina. It is a plain, casual room with an overflow seating area, and it attracts a mix of visitors walking up from the marina and locals stopping in for a quick meal.

The draw is straightforward: tacos al pastor, grilled steak and shrimp tacos, plus burritos and tortas. Reviewers regularly mention the free chips with a selection of salsas, from mild to properly hot, and a toppings bar for dressing tacos yourself. Walking takes 10 to 15 minutes from Hacienda Beach Club: go past Puerto Paraíso to Lázaro Cárdenas and continue a couple of blocks west. Tripadvisor lists it as cash only, so bring pesos. It works well for a cheap lunch after a morning on the water, or a late bite after drinks downtown; El Paisa, another popular taquería, is a short walk along the same boulevard if there is a wait.
