Maydán: An Easy Breakfast or Beach Lunch Next Door
Maydán is the daytime restaurant and beach club at Casa Dorada Los Cabos Resort & Spa, on Médano Beach just north of Hacienda Beach Club. It is open to outside guests, and it covers the two meals that are easiest to eat close to home on a beach day: breakfast and lunch. You can sit in the dining room or out on the open-air terrace overlooking Cabo San Lucas Bay.
Breakfast is served as an international buffet or à la carte, and lunch leans on locally caught seafood. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly, with occasional live music. Casa Dorada publishes separate breakfast, lunch and beach-club menus, plus kids', vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free menus, which helps if you are feeding a mixed group.
Breakfast runs from 7 AM to noon and lunch from noon to 5 PM, with the beach club open 9 AM to 6 PM. From Villa 1, walk north along the sand to Casa Dorada; it is roughly a five-to-ten-minute stroll.
