Ignore the wine bar in the name. San Lucero Restaurant & Wine Bar ranks among the highest-rated places in town on TripAdvisor, and nearly all that love is for breakfast and lunch. It's on Avenida Cabo San Lucas between Revolución de 1910 and Libertad, next door to Hotel Cabo Vista, in the upper part of downtown. From Villa 1 it's an 18-minute walk or a short taxi.

It mixes Mexican and Italian cooking with an in-house bakery. Reviewers in 2026 order avocado toast, chilaquiles, enchicharronadas (enchiladas with pork crackling), lasagna, and whatever bread came out of the oven that morning. Save room for the homemade gelato and desserts. The official website publishes its menu in English and Spanish, and it recently launched a new one.
