What Bisbee's Los Cabos Offshore is
The Los Cabos Offshore is the first of Bisbee's two October tournaments in Cabo San Lucas. Bisbee's pitches it as the high-energy warm-up for the Black & Blue, and it has a more social feel: lower base entry (US$1,500 in 2026), and real money in the tuna and dorado categories alongside billfish. Recent payouts have topped US$2.7 million.
A lot of teams fish both weeks, so the marina stays full from mid-October on.
2026 schedule
Pre-registration is Monday, October 12 from 3 to 6 PM at Puerto Paraíso near the weigh station. Main registration and bag pickup is Tuesday, October 13 from 3 to 7 PM, with the captains meeting on stage at 7 PM.
Fishing runs Wednesday to Friday, October 14 to 16. There's a 7 AM shotgun start, lines out by 5 PM, and the weigh station is open 2 to 9 PM. The awards celebration is Saturday, October 17 at 6 PM at La Antojería Cabo at The Place at Cabo, on the malecón between H and I docks.
Watching the weigh-ins
The weigh station is the only part most visitors see, and it's free. Afternoons are quiet; the action builds after 5 PM as boats come back in, and anything big draws a crowd fast. Tuna and dorado come across the scale more often than marlin, which makes this week more fun to watch than you'd guess.
Bring water and patience. It's still hot in mid-October, and you might wait a while between fish. Kids tend to love it for 30 minutes and then want dinner, which is fine: the marina is full of options.
Getting there from Médano Beach
From Hacienda Beach Club it's roughly a 15 to 20 minute walk along the beach and into the marina to Puerto Paraíso, or a quick taxi. Parking at the mall fills up in the evening, so walking is easier. Our Cabo San Lucas marina guide covers the layout.
After the weigh-ins, Solomon's Landing and The Nowhere Bar are both a short walk from the scale. If you're staying with us, you can be back on the beach in 20 minutes.
