Is Cabo Real open?
No. Questro Golf, which operates it, announced that Cabo Real closed on Monday, September 28, 2026 for a full golf course renovation, and hasn't given a reopening date. Its last published rates, valid through September 27, were $215 in the morning and $160 at twilight, which made it one of the more affordable corridor rounds.
Older multi-course passes that include Cabo Real may no longer apply, so check before you buy one.
Where to play instead
Questro's other courses, Puerto Los Cabos and Club Campestre San José, are both open to the public. Closer to Cabo San Lucas, the Cabo del Sol Course takes public tee times.
Getting to Cabo Real Golf Club from Villa 1
About 21 km east of Villa 1 on Highway 1, 20 to 25 minutes, in the Cabo Real resort area. Don't make the trip for golf until the club announces a reopening.
