The course

The Dunes opened in 2009 and routes through some of the biggest dunes on the Pacific coast, playing toward, along and away from the ocean. Diamante says Golf Magazine ranked it No. 36 in the world in 2017 and Golf Digest named it the best course in Mexico in 2016. Comfort stations sit every three holes.

Access

Diamante doesn't publish public tee times or green fees; play is arranged through the club for members, owners and their guests. If you have a connection there or are renting inside Diamante, ask the club directly. Diamante is also home to Tiger Woods's El Cardonal, and the Nobu hotel is next door for dinner. For a public Pacific-side round, see Solmar Golf Links.

Getting to Diamante Dunes Course from Villa 1

About 12 km from Villa 1, 20 to 25 minutes, through Cabo San Lucas and out toward the Pacific off Highway 19. Diamante is gated; you need to be expected.
