Tiger Woods, Pacific side

El Cardonal at Diamante

El Cardonal was Tiger Woods's first golf course design, opened in 2014 at Diamante on the Pacific side of Cabo San Lucas. Next to it is the Oasis, a 12-hole par-3 course.

The course

Woods designed El Cardonal around strategy rather than length, with wide playing corridors, arroyos, native dunes and ocean views. The Oasis Short Course, also by Woods, circles an eight-acre water feature lined with palms: 12 par-3 holes, pitched at families, beginners and practice.

Access

Like the Dunes Course, El Cardonal doesn't have public rates or online tee times. Contact Diamante if you're a guest of a member or owner. For public golf nearby, try Solmar Golf Links or the Cabo del Sol Course.

Getting to El Cardonal at Diamante from Villa 1

About 12 km from Villa 1, 20 to 25 minutes via Cabo San Lucas toward the Pacific, into the gated Diamante community.
