Médano Beach Italian Restaurant

Fellini's

Pueblo Bonito Rosé's Italian dining room: pasta finished at the table in a cheese wheel, risottos, a sommelier's cellar and a dress-up dinner by the beach.

Our take

Fellini's: Special-Occasion Italian on Médano

When we checked TripAdvisor in September 2026, the top-ranked restaurant in Cabo San Lucas was a hotel Italian: Fellini's, inside Pueblo Bonito Rosé, the pink resort toward the northern end of Médano Beach, about a 12-minute walk from Villa 1 along the sand. It's also one of the most reviewed in town. Dinner only, in a room with a sommelier-run wine cellar and a lot of theater at the table.

The dish everyone mentions is fettuccine Alfredo finished tableside in a wheel of Parmesan. Beyond that, reviewers order lobster pasta, osso buco, carpaccio, lasagna and surf and turf, and finish with tiramisu or zabaione. The resort's own description highlights thin-crust grilled pizzas and risottos. It's classic, generous Italian rather than anything experimental.

Dress up a little. The resort's term is resort elegant, though men's shorts pass with smart casual shoes. Children under eight aren't allowed, which keeps the room calm. Reservations are required, and the official page mentions a surcharge per person and a no-show fee, which appear to apply to guests on the resort's meal plan. Call ahead if you're coming from outside the resort, to confirm how they handle non-guests on the night you want.

Service is part of the draw. Reviews mention staff by name and describe a well-run room. The odd miss happens (one August 2026 diner had stale bread and a poorly washed salad), but most nights it delivers. Walk up the beach at sunset, eat, and take a two-minute taxi home if you'd rather not walk back along the sand in the dark. Dinner is served from 5 or 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM depending on the source, so confirm when you book.
