Wild Canyon: closest and most flexible
Wild Canyon, at Km 19.5 of the Corridor, is about 25 minutes from Villa 1. Its zipline tour has eight lines and roughly 4.5 km of cable over a private canyon, and it ends with a walk over the long hanging bridge. Singles are listed at about US$99 plus an entrance fee of US$22 to 25. The big advantage is everything else in the park: bungee, giant swing, camels and a water park, so non-riders have something to do. Full details are on our Wild Canyon page.
Cabo Adventures Outdoor Adventure: biggest line
Cabo Adventures runs a 3.5-hour combo at a ranch inside a biosphere reserve about an hour and a half from Cabo, in the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna. It combines a zipline circuit, a suspension bridge, a climbing wall and rappel, and a drive in a Polaris UTV. The headline is a 'Superman' line of about 4,000 feet, which the company says reaches 60 mph. Online it was USD 104 when we checked (list price USD 149), plus US$25 entrance per adult and a US$25 damage waiver at check-in.
This one needs some fitness: there is a 30-minute uphill walk and a 20-foot ladder. Minimum age is 8, minimum height 1.20 m and maximum weight 265 lb. Cameras are not allowed on the course.
Cactus Tours Sky Bike: something different
Out at Migriño, Km 100 on Highway 19 about 30 minutes up the Pacific side, Cactus Tours has a Sky Bike: you pedal a bicycle hanging from a cable 854 meters long. The company bills it as the world's longest aerial bike zipline. It is slower and less scary than a standard zip, and the view over the dunes to the ocean is the point. Price was USD 125 per adult and USD 62.50 per child up to 11, plus a USD 25 park fee, with a short safari ride and tequila tasting included. Minimum age 8, maximum 120 kg.
Which one should you book?
Families with mixed ages and nervous riders: Wild Canyon, for the short drive and the extras. Thrill-seekers who do not mind a long day: Cabo Adventures, for the Superman line and the UTV. Couples who want photos and a gentler ride: the Sky Bike, which also pairs well with the UTV tours and camel rides nearby.
At all three, wear closed-toe shoes, skip alcohol beforehand, and book a morning slot between May and October, when afternoons are very hot. None is suitable during pregnancy or for anyone with back, neck or heart problems. More ideas for kids are in our Cabo with kids guide.
