What makes Spa Montage different
Size is the obvious thing. Most Corridor spas give you a locker room, a steam room and a relaxation lounge. Here you get garden lounges, steam rooms, hot and cold plunge pools and an adults-only serenity pool that is as large as the main pool at many resorts. If you want to spend a whole afternoon rather than a single hour, that pool is the reason to pick Montage over its neighbors.
There is also a beauty salon, a 24-hour fitness center and a boutique on site, so you can combine a massage with hair or nails before a dinner out.
Signature treatments
The menu leans on Baja ingredients. The ones that come up most often:
- Baja Relax: a Swedish-style massage, the safe choice if you just want to switch off
- Mezcal Renewal: a massage built around essential oils and a mezcal theme
- Crystal Flowers of the Sea: a 60 to 90 minute body ritual with agave-fiber dry brushing and a sea-salt exfoliation
- Facials using Tata Harper organic skincare
- Treatments designed for teens, which is unusual among the big resort spas
Prices, age rules and booking
Montage does not publish its spa prices online, and its website blocked our checks in September 2026, so call the spa for the current menu. Expect Corridor luxury pricing, plus a service charge; ask whether it is already included before you tip.
Services are for guests 16 and older; younger teens can book with a parent or guardian present. Whether non-hotel guests can book, and whether a treatment includes use of the adults-only pool, is not stated publicly. Ask both questions when you call, and book several days ahead in high season (December to April).
Getting there from Villa 1
Montage is at Km 12.5 of the Transpeninsular Highway, at the Twin Dolphin turnoff. From Médano Beach it is roughly 20 minutes by taxi or Uber outside rush hour. Tell the driver you have a spa reservation; resort gates on the Corridor ask for one.
Make a day of it: snorkel at Santa María Bay in the morning (see our Santa María and Chileno snorkeling guide), book a late-morning treatment, then have lunch at Mezcal at Montage. Our getting around guide covers taxis and drivers.
Who it suits
Couples and small groups who want a long, quiet spa afternoon. It is less ideal if you only have an hour: you pay for facilities you will not have time to use. For a massage without the drive, the spa at Hacienda Beach Club is a short walk from the villa.
